What are gable roof patios?

Gable patios feature a distinctive pitched roof with two sloping sides that meet at a peak or ridge in the middle. They are a visually appealing patio design that also offers many practical advantages compared to a traditional flat roof patio.

The added height of gable roofs allows for more light and better ventilation while the angle of the roof ensures that water drains quickly and efficiently, preventing water damage during heavy rainfall. You may also consider the incorporation of side ‘wings’ (a flat section on either side of the gable) to add even more functionality and style to your facade.
